I finally broke down and got my own cell phone plan. Goodbye family plan with my dad! My work offers a lovely discount on my monthly phone bill, though, so the transition isn’t as stark. Ricky and I went to a networking and dining etiquette dinner last night, sponsored by the UMBC Chapter of Young Alumni and hosted at Ixia. The restaurant has been around for about ten years, and has a plush, relaxed, yet upscale feel to it. The main [...] Last night marked one of my semi-annual returns to the UMBC dining hall. Ricky and Ciara met up with me to join in on the adventure. And how things have changed. Out with Sodexho, in with Chartwells. Out with The Spot, in with Outtakes. Jazzman’s is gone, replaced with Au Bon Pain in The Commons, [...] Ricky cooked up some rice noodles last night. I was really apprehensive because I thought they’d be reminiscent of the noodles I had at a pho restaurant years ago. Ricky’s culinary prowess delivered, however, and these noodles were quite tastey. Lets try this whole blogging thing again. I’m going to try to keep the theme to Glen Burnie / Baltimore, hence the name. But we’ll see how things develop as time goes on.
